Why I Decided To Run?
In order to serve ALL of the people of the City of Syracuse but especially to empower and encourage those individuals and groups whose needs have gone unrecognized.
- I am a product of Syracuse City schools and I have placed my children in them because I believe in
public education. Yet as parent I am aware of the challenges that parents, teachers and students face
as they navigate the system in search of education that meets their needs.
- Some of our city areas have been neglected and left without any voice to address issues like crime,
poverty, abandoned housing, gang violence, and job losses.
- We need to get youth off the street and back into schools or working. I am firm believer that our children
are both gifted and talented, but they need suitable avenues to showcase their brilliance.
- We need to get back to a government that is made by the people and that works for the people.
- I have a fundamental belief that small businesses are necessary to help grow our community.
